Real training for people who want to understand money, not just move it around.
Started in 2018 because too many Australians were making financial decisions without really understanding what they were signing up for. We teach analysis fundamentals—not get-rich schemes or magic formulas. Just practical skills you can actually use.
Our courses focus on reading financial statements, understanding risk, and making sense of numbers that matter. Whether you're thinking about a career shift or just want to handle your own finances better, we meet you where you are.
Back in 2017, I was working in Sydney's financial district and kept running into the same problem. People around me—smart, capable people—had no idea how to read a balance sheet. They'd sign mortgage documents without understanding the terms. Make investment choices based on what their mate said at the pub.
So I started running weekend workshops. Just basics at first. Cash flow statements. What equity actually means. How to spot red flags in a prospectus. Twenty people showed up to that first session in a borrowed conference room in Parramatta.
By 2019, those workshops had turned into structured courses. Now we run programs throughout the year, mostly for career changers and small business owners who need to understand their numbers but never learned how.
Finance has enough complexity without artificial barriers. We explain things in plain language because understanding shouldn't require a decoder ring.
Every concept gets tied to actual situations you'll encounter. We use Australian companies, local market conditions, and scenarios that make sense for where you live.
Financial analysis isn't fortune-telling. We teach you to work with probabilities and uncertainties rather than pretending certainty exists where it doesn't.
klyrospera is still small. That's deliberate. We keep class sizes manageable so everyone gets actual feedback on their work, not just automated quiz results.
Founder & Principal Educator
Spent twelve years in corporate finance before realizing I was better at explaining financial concepts than actually enjoying corporate life. CPA qualified, but more importantly, patient with questions.
I design all our course materials and teach most sessions myself. The goal is always the same—help you understand financial decisions well enough to make your own choices, not parrot what someone else told you.
